Scarbrough House, built in 1819 for the principal owner of the Savannah, the first steamship to cross the Atlantic Ocean, is the elegant setting for a colorful exhibition of ship models, paintings and maritime antiques, with video presentations and the largest garden in the historic district. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places
